Sir Winston Churchill

Sir Winston Churchill

Note: Bulbs ship starting in October based on availability and your zone, unlike other products. Plant around or after your first frost but before the ground freezes.

An award-winning Daffodil, Sir Winton Churchill blooms with up to 4 flowers per stem and is deeply fragrant. His white ruffled petals are offset by inner creamy yellow petals for a delightful display in the garden or vase. This variety is surprisingly hardy for more difficult soil conditions and colder or hotter temperature zones. This early-mid spring bloomer can perform well in zones 4-9 and will reach 15” tall. This Daffodil is deer resistant and easy to grow.

Sir Winston Churchill is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting

Planting Instructions:

  1. Choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.

  2. Dig a hole 6-8 inches deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. Daffodil bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil line.

  3. Place bulbs 2-3 inches apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.

  4. Water once and then not again till spring.
