Double Sugar

Double Sugar

Note: Bulbs ship starting in October based on availability and your zone, unlike other products. Plant around or after your first frost but before the ground freezes.

Double Sugar produces lush, fully double blooms with layers of petals in soft to vibrant pink tones. The flowers open from blush-green buds and reach up to 5½" across, resembling camellias or peonies. With sturdy stems growing 14 to 18 inches tall, this variety is a standout in the garden and a favorite for spring arrangements.

Blooming in mid to late spring, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Plant in a protected spot to prevent damage from heavy wind or rain, and enjoy one of the best-performing pink doubles available.

Double Sugar is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting.

Fall Planting Instructions:

  1. Choose an area with full sun that has good drainage.

  2. Dig a hole 6-8” deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. Tulip bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil.

  3. Place bulbs 2-3” apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.

  4. Water once and then not again till spring.
